A sub-atomic particle can exist in two places at the same time, in fact it exists in all places at once. When we observe the particle it is only then that it has a position. I'm not sure this is totally correct but according to quantum physics our reality is only a result of our observations, and we often observe the most probable result.Anyway if you read more into quantum physics you might start to believe your idea is wrong.

Sad but there will never be a time machine that we can travel threw.But we can probably see time threw a time machine and record exact history.But unfortunatly we are mortal and time ages us and we cannot change this.Traveling threw time could also mean speed but not alter it.This man has a dream but theory and reality are two different things.You cannot go back to yourself for you are reality and flesh and bone, you cannot be in two places at once it is impossible.

If you made a time machine it could realy stuff up the timeline due to alternite realitys that could happen.Think of back to the future he went to the past to warn doc Later on when he came to to his own timeline Doc came to warn him about his future.When he fixed the future and came back once again doc warned him about his past in other word if you were to create a time machine you would either destroy reality or its supposed to happen and everything stays exactly the same sorryThatWasVeryLong.

We can only speculate on the implications of time travel based on unproven theorys woven into a very predictable fundimental group of scientific concepts we call Physics/Quantum Mechanics. Therefor it is foreseeable that in bending space time,(travelling backward or forward in time) we might create alternate universes, parallel to our own. Or we could simply experiance a parallel reality that allready exsisted. In other words we aren`t in the position to say what would or wouldn`t happen.
